CONSTRUCTION

With performance a priority. The structure specifies a vacuumed or infused carbon / foam composite producing a high modulus, light, responsive structure. Vertical carbon daggerboards further enhance up and downwind performance. Carbon spars with a stacker boom complete the performance package. A 5% larger 7/8ths sports rig option is offered for lighter air sailing

SAILING EXPERIENCE

The forward cockpit offers the helmsman full visibility of the sails and bows, combining all the sail controls enables single-handed sailing. This feature leaves the aft cockpit uncluttered and open for entertaining and relaxing.

Auxiliary Twin 40hp diesel sail drives combined with extensive solar panels mounted on the cabin top provide generation.

HULL PLACEMENT

Hull lines are standard with half round midship sections becoming flat aft reduce pitching. A relatively full forward DWL also reduces pitching and allows reserve buoyancy while the wave piercing bows maintain a sharp entry.

PROFILE

A relatively low wing deck, a clearance of 750mm [loaded] produces a low overall profile and provides spacious forward berths with large outdoor windows. A step up aft of the forward cockpit enables a more generous 830mm clearance.

INTERIOR

Bifold doors completely open the galley/ saloon to the cockpit combining the two areas. At anchor, the cockpit aft beam folds down horizontal once the tender has been launched, further enhancing the living areas. A drop down fabric blind encloses the cockpit to form a more enclosed area when preferred.

INTERIOR

The Interior features a full up L shaped port and starboard galley opening to the saloon / cockpit. The Interior will be predominately painted, clear carbon with hints of light timber. Soles will be synthetic timber.
